Terms of Service – Virtual Walk Journey

1. Scope
These Terms govern the use of Virtual Walk Journey by [Provider]. Registration = acceptance.
2. Service description
Virtual walks between any cities worldwide, powered by real steps. Solo or in groups with weekly leagues. Recreational use only, not medical advice.
3. Registration
- Minimum age 13
- Accurate info required
- Password security is your responsibility
- One account per person
4. Code of conduct (prohibited)
Insults, hate speech, threats, discrimination · Sexual/violent/disturbing content · Spam, ads, illegal content · Identity fraud · Third-party rights infringement.
We may delete messages, suspend or terminate accounts.
5. Reporting & moderation
Reports reviewed within 24 hours. Accounts may be removed for repeated or severe violations.
6. Availability
Best-effort uptime; no continuous guarantee.
7. Liability
Unlimited for intent/gross negligence. Ordinary negligence: only for essential contract obligations, limited to foreseeable typical damage. Data loss: typical backup effort. No liability for health damage from physical activity.
8. Intellectual property
App rights belong to Provider. Simple non-transferable right of use granted. Your submitted content stays yours; we get a non-exclusive display right.
9. Termination
Delete your account anytime (Profile → Delete account). We may terminate extraordinarily for material breaches.
10. Changes
Material changes announced in-app.
11. Governing law & venue
Laws of Germany (excluding CISG). Venue [Berlin].
12. Severability
Invalid clauses don’t affect the rest.
